The criminal[2] is a prisoner who first appears in the episode "Bubble Buddy," eating a Krabby Patty at the Krusty Krab; he also appears in the home console versions of the video game Lights, Camera, Pants! and the episode "Cave Dwelling Sponge." A separate[1] criminal first appears in the episode "Truth or Square," during "Oh, Krusty Krab;" he also appears in the episode "Pat the Horse."

Description

He has olive-green skin with puffy cheeks and a dark olive-green-striped dorsal fin. He also has three dark green spots on his head and wears a black mask. He has scales on his back and has black and white stripes on his clothing, as typical prisoners wear.

In "Cave Dwelling Sponge," he is seen wearing an orange prison uniform.

Role in series

"Bubble Buddy"

When Template:Data:Links and Template:Data:Links go to the Krusty Krab, Template:Data:Links complains that Bubble Buddy cannot eat at the restaurant and that his money is no good there. Template:Data:Links appears out of the cash register and says that everyone's money will be accepted. The scene then shows the criminal with a big bag of cash on the table, implying that stolen money is good money for the Krusty Krab.

Lights, Camera, Pants!

In The Bouncers menu icon and unused graphics, Krusty Krab customers include the criminal again.

"Truth or Square"

During "Oh, Krusty Krab," a different[1] criminal has robbed the First Nautical Bank and gets caught by orange Incidental 118. They then notice the song and happily skip off together.

"Cave Dwelling Sponge"

The "Bubble Buddy" criminal makes a cameo appearance at the visitors' area in the Bikini Bottom Jail.

"Pat the Horse"

The "Truth or Square" criminal appears on the cover of the book You Can Be Anything.

Trivia

  • Like Incidental 36, the criminal initially puffy-cheeked while eating (in "Bubble Buddy" and Lights, Camera, Pants!) later appears puffy-cheeked without eating (in "Cave Dwelling Sponge" and the Best Year Ever poster).
  • Between Lights, Camera, Pants! and "Cave Dwelling Sponge" and between "Truth or Square" and "Pat the Horse," it took them 12 and 8 years to return, respectively.
    • The episodes they returned in are both from season 11.
