The hotdogs are a large crowd of unnumbered incidental characters who appear in the episode "The Great Snail Race" and the book Comic Number 17. They are classified as hotdog-type incidentals which is what they are named after.

Description

They are crudely drawn hotdog shaped fish who form a crowd in the distant background. They all mostly appear to be around the same height and they come in many different colors and also wear different or no clothing.

Role in series

The hotdogs have only appeared in one episode so far as well as a book that was based on the episode that they appeared in.
