Cuddle Eat Hugs is an imaginary hamster who appears as the titular character in the episode of the same name.
Description
He is a very tall, obese, tan hamster with a lighter tan stomach, rosy pink cheeks, and a light red nose. He appears to have dimples and two front buck teeth. He also wears a green bow tie and a green top hat.
Role in episode
After Template:Data:Links eats a moldy old Krabby Patty to prove Template:Data:Links wrong, he becomes sick and runs outside of the restaurant. At that point, he meets a hamster named Cuddle E. Hugs, who loves to cuddle and hug, and the two become best friends.
They go all over town doing several activities together, including bike riding and having a tickle fight in the park, while several Bikini Bottomites look on in confusion and shock. That night, SpongeBob brings Cuddle to his house and they have a sleepover.
The next morning, SpongeBob finds Cuddle missing and he does not know what could have happened to him, leaving him saddened. However, then, SpongeBob gets the thought a Krabby Patty would make him feel better, so he takes another bite of the old patty. At that moment, Cuddle appears and the two embrace in a reunion hug. SpongeBob then takes Cuddle to meet his friends, but none of them can see him. Template:Data:Links tells him that it's just his imaginary friend, but Cuddle reveals that no one else can see him because no one else had eaten the old patty. He then convinces SpongeBob to get the others to eat the patty.
SpongeBob goes to the Krusty Krab, cuts the patty up, and the other citizens eat it. Finally, they see Cuddle, who ends up attacking them and eating them; although, in reality, they are all suffering from hallucinations caused by side effects of food poisoning from eating the old Krabby Patty.
The next morning, SpongeBob finds himself on the Krusty Krab floor and wants to know why Cuddle did that. He eats another bite of the patty to see Cuddle one last time and when Cuddle reveals the "E" in his name means "Eat," therefore explaining his actions the night before.
SpongeBob thinks he is still hungry and throws a piece of the patty in his mouth, causing him to get sick. At that moment, he is in a child's bedroom with many SpongeBob SquarePants products in his land form saying "Oh, pellets" as the episode ends.
