Character

The Cyclops is a man in a standard diving suit. He doesn't have any lines except for evil laughing and "uh-oh," and "huh" when the dead sea creatures came proceeding to beat him up. He mostly just laughs in an evil manner. He appeared in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie as the tertiary antagonist, though he is not seen until he steps on Dennis. He works at Shell City making "smelly knick-knacks". The Cyclops is sometimes referred as "Stranger" by SpongeBob and Patrick.

History

The Cyclops was first mentioned by Mindy when she warned SpongeBob and Patrick about hazards of going to Shell City. He later appeared stepping on Dennis, saving SpongeBob and Patrick from him. But happiness was soon crushed when Cyclops picked them up and took them to Shell City. He was seen making a clam into a diorama of "Alexander Clam Bell". He then picked up SpongeBob and Patrick and put them under a heat lamp so they dry up and die, and he's be able to make them into knick knacks. But the duo's tear drop rolled down the wire into the power outlet, shorting it out, and smoke rised up and set off the fire sprinkers, reviving SpongeBob and Patrick. They then proceeded to get King Neptune's crown, but the Cyclops picked them up and growled at them. However, the dead sea creatures also come back to life and beat up the monster as revenge. Cyclops's boot ratel was seen with Dennis on it.

It is unknown what became of him after the events of the film, but he most likely got injured or got his suit torn up from the aftermath of the scuffle.
