Daniel Kingsley "Dan" Povenmire (born September 18, 1963; age 62) was a crew member on the Nickelodeon shows Rocko's Modern Life and SpongeBob SquarePants. After leaving Nickelodeon, Povenmire teamed up with Jeff "Swampy" Marsh to create two series of Disney Phineas and Ferb and Milo Murphy's Law. He is also heavily recognized for his work on Family Guy.
In addition to his writing and storyboarding credits on the show, Dan Povenmire makes a live-action appearance in "Krab Borg" as the man being chased by a robot in the movie that SpongeBob watches on TV. He also wrote the "Campfire Song Song" for "The Camping Episode."
