He plays the drums in "Prehibernation Week." In 2006, Springer created and co-directed the pilot episode for Korgoth of Barbaria in collaboration with Genndy Tartakovsky. Springer also was the voice of the animated character "Laughing Bubble" in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie in 2004.
