Dean Kovanda is a boy with leukemia who did the voice over for Harold. At the age of 8, he was diagnosed with leukemia and in a few years the chemo damaged his nerves on his legs, paralyzing his waist. According to him, he couldn't remember how he asked for it, but the Make-a-Wish Foundation brought him to Universal Studios so he could meet the voice actors of Spongebob Squarepants. Unfortunately, half of them were gone, and he distinctly remembers the voice actor for Mr. Krabs being absent.
