In this episode, Mr. Krabs creates a "promotion" to the Krusty Krab by selling Viking Sized Drinks (They are all the same size) that gets Spongebob interested in Vikings. Then SpongeBob sends a letter to THE VIKINGS, then a garbageman (who is a viking) delivers the letter to the Head Viking which comes to the Krusty Krab and kidnaps Spongebob and Squidward. Then they force them to work on the ship, and they hit an iceberg. Spongebob saves the ship and ends the episode with the quote "Looks like this is a Viking-sized adventure!"

Trivia/Goofs
- This is the second time SpongeBob writes a letter, the first being "Christmas Who?".
- When the vikings hit an iceberg with their ship, it is a reference to how the Titanic sunk.
- Patrick is said to be Spongebob's best friend. But when the vikings are about to launch Squidward out of the catapult, Spongebob refers to him as his best friend. This is a common error, as SpongeBob refers to Patrick, Squidward, Goofy Goober (The Peanut), Gary, and Sandy all as his best friend.
