Plot

In this episode, Mr. Krabs creates a "promotion" to the Krusty Krab by selling Regular, Large and Viking Sized Drinks (Which are all the same size) in a bid to save the restaurant money yet to fool the customers. This gets SpongeBob interested in Vikings. Then SpongeBob sends a letter to the vikings, then a garbageman (who is a viking) delivers the letter to the Head Viking which comes to the Krusty Krab and kidnaps SpongeBob and Squidward. Then they force them to work on the ship, and they hit an iceberg. SpongeBob saves the ship and ends the episode with the quote "Now that's what I call a Viking-sized adventure!"

  • When the vikings hit an iceberg with their ship, it is a reference to how the Titanic sunk.
  • The vikings' names are Helga, Olaf, Olaf, Olaf, Olaf, Olaf, Olaf, Olaf, Oolaf (two Os), and Gordon.
  • SpongeBob should already know about Vikings because in Bubble Buddy he celebrates Leif Ericsson Day, indicating this episode takes place before Bubble Buddy.
  • When you watch this episode in German all the vikings are called Olaf except Gordon, who is called Gunther in the German episode version.
