On a stormy night in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob watches TV flipping through the channels and finds the Demolition Derby. He wants to join, but when he convinced his dad, his dad said it was "too dangerous". SpongeBob walks up to his room in his dad's house, in tears. The next morning, at the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob was 12 seconds late. Upon realizing this, SpongeBob cries a flood of tears that wash out the customers. Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob he's on probation. SpongeBob told Mr. Krabs he wanted to do the Demolition Derby, and Mr. Krabs said they could do one at the Krusty Krab. They built a race track. Patrick watches SpongeBob crash into brick walls and blocks. SpongeBob gets put on the front of the newspaper, and the next everybody in Boating School is laughing and making fun of SpongeBob for his poor driving. SpongeBob cries another flood of tears, wiping out the people in the Boating School. Mrs. Puff expels SpongeBob. SpongeBob cries gallons and gallons of tears that cause a downtown flash flood. SpongeBob knows he has to save the Bikini Bottomites. Meanwhile, Patrick does the Demolition Derby, and accidentally drives off a cliff. SpongeBob absorbs the water and becomes giant. He sees an injured Patrick. Everybody gathers around to see this. SpongeBob cries, which lets out the water he absorbed, causing a flash flood in Neptune's Paradise, where Captain Lutefisk and the Crackling Cruiser chase SpongeBob for causing a flood in their town. Some of the water he released saves Patrick, and SpongeBob apologizes to Captain Lutefisk. Then they take Patrick to the hospital, where SpongeBob states "I guess Derbys ''are'' a bad influence and the body", then laughs, ending the episode. | |||
