Throughout the episode, Abrasive Sponge says bad things to SpongeBob's friends, until SpongeBob asks {{Link|Sandy}} to help him get rid of the abrasive side. At the end of the episode, [[Grandma SquarePants|SpongeBob's grandmother]] puts on an abrasive sponge, and yells at SpongeBob.
