Production
This episode was originally confirmed on June 6, 2023 as "PAT210PrelimsPan," as a storyboard was leaked in a Discord server.[1]
It eventually popped seen on Nickelodeon's press schedule listings - unknowingly as episode "205b" on October 2, 2023, at 3:44PM EDT, although the title and plot were unconfirmed.[2]
Its title and plot were confirmed later in the day.

General
- This episode's premiere, alongside the other three in its premiere week will be simulcasted on Nicktoons.[4] Due to Nicktoons' spacings of commercial breaks, the episode will effectively debut on that network first.
- This is Sandy's first starring role in The Patrick Star Show. It follows "Single-Celled Defense" as her next starring role in the franchise (by airing order).
Episode references
- Patrick has a wheel with various SpongeBob characters representing the astrology signs, referencing "Astrology with Squidward." Additionally, Leo is portrayed by Plankton angrily shouting in a lion costume, like in "Leo."
