Plot

Squidward leaves his home for work while SpongeBob and Patrick play an annoying game where you throw a big rock on each other. While on his way to the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob and Patrick jump on him and break his neck and play a game of buddy toss. Later, during his shift, SpongeBob and Patrick fool around by squirting mustard in each other's eyes. Squidward runs home when his shift is over and manages to relax at home, until he finds SpongeBob, Patrick, and an electric eel playing flashlight tag. Squidward in his Tiki Land

on Squidward's house falls on him and he crawls inside. Later, he crys and wishes that he could be in a peaceful world. Next, while he is in bed he is kept awake all night by the sound of power tools. Finally, after hours, he runs outside to yell at SpongeBob, but finds a beautiful forest scene with flowers, trees, and waterfalls. But he believes it is a mirage, then changes his mind after getting a coconut drink and Hawaiian clothes, He takes a relaxing ride on a boat down a creek and takes a shower. After he finishes his drink he sees Patrick at a bar and gets another but is annoyed that Patrick has the drinks, but doesn't mind since the drink is delicious. He takes another ride down the creek and he and the Enchanted Tikis sing Squidward's Tiki Land, a song about Squidward's tiki world. He then sees SpongeBob with an easel and paints a picture of his world and plays a clarinet, and dances with SpongeBob and Patrick, until Patrick knocks down some tikis and burns the backgrounds (it was all some sort of mechanical device) and Squidward begins to cry. It seems like Squidward will never be happy again until he finds away to hurt SpongeBob and Patrick on a boat ride usually seen at amusement parks. The show ends with Squidward laughing, and enjoying his life once more.

Trivia/Goofs

• When Squidward considers playing his clarinet, he doesn't move his lips.
• This episode was originally to be paired with The Cent of Money.
• The eel from Walking Small appears again, much smaller, and he is now electric.
• Kelpy G's Cool Jazz, from The Thing is heard.
• This is one of few episodes to have voices during the title card. Some were SB-129 and Sailor Mouth.
• The moving tikis are possibly a reference to the video game Battle for Bikini Bottom.
• This was part of the Addicting Games Showdown when it first aired.
• We see the Krusty Krab but no Krabby Patties, customers, or Mr. Krabs.
• The French Narrator says that Squidward's work shift was extremely annoying. Meaning either he thinks Spongebob and Patrick are annoying, or it just means it was annoying for Squidward.
• When the tikis are playing the instruments, they have no hands. This is a similar to the show Veggie Tales where the characters can pick up objects even with no hands like the tikis.
• This is the 4th episode where Squidward is happy at the end. The first 3 are Band Geeks, Suction Cup Symphony and House Fancy.
• The title card background is similar to Culture Shock but with different tikis.
• The title is a parody to Disney's attraction, Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room.
• This is the 5th episode with tikis on the title card. The first was Hall Monitor, the second was Culture Shock, the third was SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One, and the fourth was A Pal for Gary.
• Squidward's Tiki land looks like the island in "Spongebob Squarepants vs.The Big One.
• When the Tiki Land turned to ruins and when Squidward is riding his "swinging boat", niether SpongeBob's, Patrick's or Squidward's houses are seen.
• 3rd time tikis are seen to have mind of their own. The 1st was in "Good Neighbors" when Squidward's tiki house terrorized Bikini Bottom, and the 2nd was in "Growth Spout" when Squidward's tiki house said: "Oh, well, I needed to lose some weight, anyway."
• SpongeBob makes a grammatical error near the end of the episode when he says, "Yeah, considering neither of us have ears", when he should have said "Neither of us has ears".
