"Experimenting with a New Formula" is a deleted scene from The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. The deleted scene is included as a bonus feature on the film's Blu-ray release.

Synopsis

In this scene, Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob to make something after he tells Mr. Krabs that he doesn't remember the formula. SpongeBob attempts to make Krabby Patties, but instead he makes the new recipe Krabby Patties. Mr. Krabs says that these patties will have to do. Fish take the Krabby Patties and SpongeBob says that they are not really Krabby Patties, but he was experimenting with a new recipe. The fish eat the patties, but soon spit them out towards Squidward. The fish then chase SpongeBob out of the Krusty Krab.
