Exploding Chewing Gum is one of the prank items Frank sells at the Palace of Pranks, in the episode Pranks a Lot. Anyone who eats it causes his/her head explode and only his/her bone is left. It costs $9.95.
Design
The box design is light blue with an yellow explosion drawing spelling in red Exploding Chewing Gum. The gum is green color.
Trivia
- The Exploding Chewing Gum was first introduced to SpongeBob.
- Why does it only explode in your mouth? Would it explode if you tamper with it before it is eaten?
- Patrick is the only one seen eating it so far.
- It could be a possible reference to the snapping gum where when someone puts their hands in the package, a mouse trap like machine snaps at them.
