Template:Infobox The Exploding Chewing Gum is one of the prank items Frank sells at the Palace of Pranks in "Pranks a Lot." Anyone who eats it causes his / her head explode and only his / her bone is left. It costs $9.95.

Appearance

Exploding Gum appears to resemble regular gum. The box for the Exploding Gum is aquamarine in color and has the words "EXPLODING GUM" written in red print with a light gold explosion banner, with a red border.

History

SpongeBob and Patrick had gone to the Palace of Pranks in order to find some gags to play on people. Exploding Gum is first seen when Frank showed SpongeBob and Patrick different kinds of gag toys. Frank manages to trick Patrick into eating a piece of the Exploding Gum which literally blows his head up. It is not seen again after that.

The Exploding Chewing Gum was first introduced to SpongeBob.
So far, Patrick is the only one seen eating it.
The Exploding Gum is a reference to the famous shocking gum where the victim gets shocked when attempting to get a piece of gum.
- It could also be a reference to the infamous dirt gum, where the gum looks normal, but tastes like dirt.
