- This episode was originally titled "The Bikini Bottom Volunteer Fire Department."[2]
- The title card background is similar to those of "Welcome to the Chum Bucket," "Skill Crane," "Enemy In-Law," "The Inmates of Summer," "Plankton's Regular," "Krusty Krushers," "Free Samples," "Sharks vs. Pods," and "Lockdown for Love," except it is red and the axe and the hat are added.
