Synopsis

When SpongeBob awakens, he cannot remember his name or where he lived! While SpongeBob searches for his lost identity, Patrick and Sandy set out to find their best friend, SpongeBob SquarePants. Imagine their shock when they discover he has been elected mayor of New Kelp City!
Cover
The original cover has SpongeBob surrounded by a bunch of bubbles and SpongeBob is looking joyful and the reprint cover has SpongeBob blowing a heart-shaped bubble that says "love of bubbles" and there is another bubble that says "for the." Trivia
- Despite being similar to "What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?," it was published two years before the episode even aired.
- Ironically, Steven Banks was an author on the book and he was the writer on the episode adaption.
