Fred

Fred is a dark-green/brown fish who commonly screams"MY LEG!" after any major accidents he encounters. His name is revealed in "Patty Hype". Two of Fred's friends are Tom and Nancy. Fred is employed at Shady Shoals rest home as a janitor but this was in a dream. He regularly visits the Krusty Krab on his lunch break, and he was the first customer to try SpongeBob's "Jelly Patty," and even sang a song about it. He also appears in the episode "Karate Island." He was also part of Squidward's band in the episode, "Band Geeks"; however it is hinted that he died or was seriously injured when he collided with a blimp while twirling a flag. In four episodes, it is indicated that he may be wealthy. In "One Krab's Trash" he offers Mr. Krabs one million dollars for a hat. In "All That Glitters," he owns an expensive spatula which he sells to SpongeBob. In "Squilliam Returns," he is in the group in which Squilliam Fancyson takes to Squidward's 5-star "restaurant," suggesting that he is friends and/or does business with Fancyson. In Le Big Switch, he eats food at the very expensive Fancy! resturaunt. He is voiced by Doug Lawrence. In "The Sponge Who Could Fly" he made fun of SpongeBob and clucked like a chicken towards him. In "The Chaperone", he is shown to have many relatives. In "Bossy Boots", he is seen driving a boat with a pink fish, suggesting he's married.

Fred is always complaining about his body but he is an average person and enjoys being at the Krusty Krab. he always complainas about his body because he has several diseases

Trivia/Goofs

• Fred seemed to die in Band Geeks; however, we see him alive in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
• Fred is the first fish after the anchovies in Help Wanted.
• Fred worked as a janitor at Shady Shoals.
• Fred appears in Atlantis SquarePantis as a pants tailor. It is likely that he likes his job.
• He has a blue look-alike as seen in Pickles, Something Smells, Party Pooper Pants, Slimy Dancing, Penny Foolish,No Nose Knows, and No Hat for Pat. This is possibly a relative.
• The sandwich Patrick made, as mentioned in the episode Sing a Song of Patrick, may have been named after Fred by Patrick's mother.
• Fred's eyes are blue, as revealed in Pranks a Lot when he screams "Ghoooosts!" with his eyes bulging out towards SpongeBob and Patrick as ghosts.
• There is also another character that looks like him, but with a white shirt
• he has brittle bone disease in his right leg.
• In some episodes and most notably in Sandy, SpongeBob, and the Worm, there are multiple Freds that look just like each other, possibly

implying if "one of the Freds" screams "My LEG!" , he would be dying and another would take his place.
