Alternate-Universe Squidward is a creature who looks exactly like Squidward Tentacles, except he is confined within mirrors or appears in an alternate universe.
History
It is unknown what universe he is in or if he was an illusion. Although it is likely that he is in the same reality as Alternate-Universe SpongeBob and Alternate-Universe Patrick. Like Alternate-Universe SpongeBob, AU Squidward seems to like his counterpart as they attended a tour together and got along.
The Algae's Always Greener
Alternate-Universe Squidward appears instead of normal Squidward, during the entirety of the scenes in Plankton's alternate universe.
Squidward in Clarinetland
During Squidward's insane quest to get his clarinet back, two of Alternate-Universe Squidward appears in mirrors on his left and right and torture him by playing their clarinets loudly.
Squid Plus One
Alternate-Universe Squidward appears several times during the episode. He appears whenever Squidward looks into something reflective (his glass, a mirror). He was the person Squidward took to the Galleria Diphtheria. In the end, he told the real Squidward he'll always be his plus one.

- Though this was possibly an illusion in Squidward in Clarinetland, as they got along well in Squid Plus One.
