Production
This episode was confirmed by Cartoonlounge.de on December 20, 2022.[4]
On March 3, 2023, Vincent Waller stated that the episode had been through the final mixing phase, indicating that it was near completion.[5]
On April 21, 2023, in response to a fan implying the question of why the segment wouldn't premiere on Arbor Day,[6] Waller stated that it was shifted around with other episodes to make way for an extended "special" episode ("Dopey Dick") and a short ("Plankton and the Beanstalk.") However, he believed that when the episodes are released to the public, "folks will be happy we did."[7]
Nearly a week later on April 27, Waller stated that he and the crew approved the final mix of this segment and its sister episode, "Ain't That the Tooth," stating that fans would not have to "wait very long" for the episode to come out.[8]
