Description

The bagpipes are a woodwind instrument that consists of multiple short pipes attached to a bag. It is played by blowing into the pipes.

Role in series

"Opposite Day"

Template:Data:Links is seen playing them while acting silly in order to get Template:Data:Links to think it is Opposite Day.

"Patty Hype"

Scotsman Fred is seen with them.

"Stanley S. SquarePants"

Sandy's cousin is seen with bagpipes, and has the ability to play them.

"SpongeBob's Last Stand"

There are musicians playing bagpipes as part of the parade to celebrate the Shelly Superhighway near the edge of nowhere. They are seen again as part of "The Jellyfishing Song" at the end of the episode.

"Scavenger Pants"

SpongeBob reveals that he and Template:Data:Links lured the Loch Ness Monster with the bagpipes. Squidward thinks that the monster likes the music, and squeezes it, but then Patrick implies that it hates the sound it makes, which makes the monster eat Squidward.
