Synopsis

When winning his Kids' Choice Award, (which was announced by Owen Holt) SpongeBob thanks Template:Data:Links, Template:Data:Links, Template:Data:Links, Template:Data:Links, Template:Data:Links, his mom and his dad, the bus driver, the clam he saw that morning, his pineapple, and Squidward again.

Production

During a 5:13 PM rerun of the 2016 Illumination Studios movie Despicable Me, a 2022 Kids' Choice Awards "Orange Carpet"-preshow aired during the first commercial break at approximately 5:30 PM. Hosted by Owen Holt, the "Favorite Cartoon" award was the first award to be given out (accompanied by the aforementioned television short starring SpongeBob) and the first time the category was presented outside of the main ceremony.

At 5:32 PM, Twitter user Magitroopa posted news of the short's broadcast, and posted a recording of it at 5:38 PM.

Owen Holt posted a higher-quality print of the short on his Instagram account a few days later on April 13, 2022.

• This short is the acceptance of SpongeBob SquarePants' 14th consecutive and 19th overall Kids' Choice Award win.
• The CGI SpongeBob is the same one from the short "Slime Time!"
