Bert Strickland is character that only appears in the episode "Porous Pockets." He is friends with Harold and he usually lends money from him. He calls Harold, "Bill" because he owes him money for betting on the fry cook games. He is seen in SpongeBob's short-lived mansion. Bert always needs to borrow money from Harold. For instance, Bert always rents a reef apartment from Harold, yet only working for the Bikini Bottom Dump, Bert is unable to pay Harold.
