SpongeBob and Patrick started to make their own business which is babysitting. SpongeBob and Patrick show Squidward about babysitting by using him as a baby, but Squidward thinks that they are not good at babysitting. Until a mother tells them that she needs someone to babysit a bunch of babies. In a montage, the babies start crying. Patrick makes funny faces to make the babies stop crying, Patrick uses SpongeBob for putting spoons in the holes to feed the babies, SpongeBob grabs dozens of plates falling from the shelf which the baby falls off and grabs it with a net but the plates fall. SpongeBob and Patrick have to take out the diapers and puts them to sleep. The mom arrives seeing that SpongeBob is reading a bedtime story and Patrick sleeping with the babies, which the mom pays them.
The episode begins with SpongeBob and Patrick starting their business for babysitting, with a woman calling them down to babysit her kids. They successfully take care of her kids and start going around town, trying to find more people who need babysitting help. An old woman asks SpongeBob and Patrick to help babysit her baby, and when they accept, she runs off happily. When they go inside, they realize the baby is extremely ugly, but still treat her like a regular baby and name her Baby Prunes.


After taking care of a bunch of babies an old lady named Mary tells them that she needs babysitting services, SpongeBob asks Mary where's the baby, and she says that she's inside and says "I'm free!". SpongeBob and Patrick are trying to find the baby but Patrick thinks that a pillow and a lamp are a baby.[[File:Biddy_Sitting_082.png|thumb|250px]] SpongeBob finds a wheelchair and hears snoring. SpongeBob thinks that he found a baby, so he turns around the wheelchair and sees Mary's mother sleeping. Patrick begins to get scared saying that is the ugliest baby he has ever seen. SpongeBob says that all babies are supposed to be beautiful, even the ugly ones. SpongeBob and Patrick don't know what her name is, Patrick thinks that she looks she took too long in the bathtub, so SpongeBob and Patrick decide to name her Baby Prunes. While they started giggling Mary's Mom wakes up tells them "Where's Lazy Mary?". Patrick thinks that the baby said her first word. Mary yells "HELP HELP IT'S A ROBBERY!" and SpongeBob gives her a pacifier. SpongeBob thinks that Baby Prunes is mimicking what he says which is babbling. Mary's Mom spits out the pacifier at Patrick saying that she's not babbling. Patrick begins to feed Mary's Mom with baby food, which Mary's Mom spits out the baby food to Patrick and he eats it. Patrick begins to play with Mary's Mom with blocks, Mary's Mom traps them in a prison cell made with blocks. They've been here in this prison cell for 3 hours, SpongeBob makes a jailbreak on the left, and Patrick makes jailbreak on the right which didn't break and starts shaking. Mary's Mom tries to escape by using her tongue as a key to open the front door, until SpongeBob finds her and sends her to bed. SpongeBob prepares a bath for Mary's Mom and Patrick begins to faze out. Mary's Mom uses the secret door so she can escape. SpongeBob begins to make her a bath but he couldn't find any baby items in here.[[File:Biddy_Sitting_124.png|thumb|left|"Happy Birthday to Mother on her 137th Birthday"]]So he looked at a medicine cabinet and found a birthday card that says "Happy Birthday to Mother on her 137th Birthday" until SpongeBob figures out that Baby Prunes is an old lady. Mary's Mom uses her tongue as a key to open the front door, but Patrick continues to faze out thinks that Mary's Mom is a puppy. Mary's Mom begins to bark and Patrick opens the front door thinking that Mary's Mom is a puppy. SpongeBob is about to tell Patrick that Baby Prunes isn't a baby but she's an old lady but it was too late, as he already let Mary's Mom out of the house. So they began to scream and run around in circles. SpongeBob asks Patrick if he were an old lady, where would you go." But Patrick doesn't know, he thinks to go back in time. SpongeBob asks Patrick  what about a sewing circle, Patrick thinks a sewing circle back in time and continues to run around in circles, and SpongeBob grabs Patrick.
The two feed, play, and put Baby Prunes to bed, and afterwards, SpongeBob goes into the bathroom. In there, he realizes that Baby Prunes is actually an extremely old woman, but Patrick accidentally lets Baby Prunes run free due to him thinking she's a dog, before SpongeBob can tell him she's not a baby. The two get worried and try looking for her, only to end up in a sewing circle, where the old women in there spit on their cloth and rub it on them.  


In the sewing circle, SpongeBob kicks the door, to see that Mary's Mom is in there. Until a group of old ladies spit on their cloth to rub on SpongeBob and Patrick. Meanwhile, Mary's Mom is having fun from riding a surfboard with lava, going skydiving, and landing on a haystack. While SpongeBob and Patrick are still searching for Mary's Mom they find her at a boxing match. Mary's Mom found her babysitters and she hits them, lands on a coral tree, and uses them as punching bags. The episode ends with Mary's Mom getting tired and beginning to sleep, while SpongeBob and Patrick grab Mary's Mom to take her home.
Meanwhile, Baby Prunes is doing extreme sports and activities, until eventually SpongeBob and Patrick reach her again. They are happy to see her again, but Baby Prunes is mad at them for treating her like a baby and beats them up. This makes Baby Prunes tired and fall asleep, and the episode ends with SpongeBob and Patrick walking into the distance with Baby Prunes in her wheelchair.

  • The title is a pun on "babysitting," referencing the babysitting theme of the episode and the elderly woman's irritability.
  • When this episode first premiered, it was paired up with "Who R Zoo?"
    • Coincidentally both of these episodes are about SpongeBob and Patrick making their own business.
  • This episode marks the second major appearance of Mary's mother since "Chocolate with Nuts."
  • Some of the surfers from "SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One" briefly reappears in this episode when they are surfing on lava out of a volcano.
  • This episode reveals that Mary's mother is at least 137 years old.
  • This is the third episode in which Squidward is seen as a baby. The first was "Goo Goo Gas" and the second was "Squid Baby."
    • Although, unlike those two, he is only dressed like one in this episode rather than becoming one.

  • When the mother called SpongeBob and Patrick to babysit her house was in front of Conch Street yet in other episodes there is no house in front of the street.
