- This episode's title is a pun on the phrase "five star restaurant," which indicates a restaurant that's had very good reviews.
- This episode was accidentally released early on iTunes on the same day of its premiere, 13 hours before.
- As shown in the storyboard for the Krusty Krab Entrance, the episode takes place after Jim left, and that time period before SpongeBob took over.
