Template:TVTab Template:Television Bikini Bottom News is a news channel that informs Bikini Bottom of new events. They have various workers and crews. The channel first appears in the episode "Wormy."

The Realistic Fish Head and Perch Perkins are the main Bikini Bottom News reporters. The Realistic Fish Head usually sits at a news desk and acts as an in-studio anchorman, while Perch works as a field reporter live on the scene.

Role in series

"Wormy"

The news channel reports about the so-called monster attacking Bikini Bottom, then it shows a close-up of a butterfly, causing a man watching the channel to scream and run through the wall.

"Patty Hype"

While Template:Data:Links is watching a show about amoebas splitting. However, the show is interrupted by a Bikini Bottom News report which states the popularity of Pretty Patties.

"No Free Rides"

The news channel is shown in Mrs. Puff's imagination where a news anchor reports the reckless driving of Template:Data:Links that causes chaos around the town, then suddenly he gets run over by SpongeBob.

"The Smoking Peanut"

When SpongeBob sits down at his house, he turns on the TV and it shows the news channel reporting how Clamu cries, and the news channel reports the clue of a peanut. It also reports how Clamu's cries can be heard around the world, and breaking the hearts of Bikini Bottomites.

"Procrastination"

The channel appears in SpongeBob's dream where the channel reports how SpongeBob is goofing around while having a few minutes left to complete his essay. Then, the Realistic Fish Head pops out of his TV and wonders when he will learn. SpongeBob gets scared and destroys his TV.

"Nasty Patty"

While SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs are laughing at the Krusty Krab, Bikini Bottom News interrupts them and reports the capture of the Fake health inspector, and it states that if you have not seen this guy, he's real.

"Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V"

The news channel reports about Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy

"The Sponge Who Could Fly"

The news channel reports the news of a mysterious flying man that helps people. The news interviews Incidental 6 saying that he found his hair piece.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie

The news channel reports the opening ceremony of the Krusty Krab 2, when Perch Perkins asks Mr. Krabs about why built the second Krusty Krab, he responds by simply saying "money". It also reports how Template:Data:Links is selling Template:Data:Links at the Chum Bucket. When Perch Perkins interviews Plankton about how he got the Krabby Patty, he lies by saying that after Mr. Krabs was frozen by King Neptune, he says he has a secret wish to sell the Krabby Patties at his absence at the Chum Bucket.

The news channel reports the news of so-called "Mad Snail Disease" that infects anyone who gets bit by an infected snail. The reports say that it spreads from the bite radius, traveling upstream until the whole body has been infected.

The news channel reports the second day of the jellyfish migration. Perch Perkins reports on the scene when SpongeBob says his jellyfishing net was stolen.
