The "deep seas" are one of the types of regular incidental characters. They are incidentals that take the appearance as deep sea creatures, hence their name. Most of these incidentals are also regularly portrayed as Rock Bottomites. There are a total of 16 known "deep seas" so far. They are one of the least commonly used incidental types, only appearing in a relatively small number of episodes.

Trivia
- It is likely that Incidentals 203, 207, 210, and 213 were all prototypes for "Rock Bottom."
- Incidentals 207 and 213 are the only "deep seas" who haven't been portrayed as Rock Bottomites.
