Boring Science is a magazine that Squidward reads in the Season 1 episode The Paper. It is about boring science facts. Squidward said that it was "fun" (although he might of just said this to get his mind off of Mr. Paper). The issue that Squidward was reading talked about things such as erosion and mitosis. On the front cover, a picture can be seen of mitosis, and on the back cover, a picture can be seen of erosion. The title is named inappropriately (for humor) as people wouldn't want to read something boring.

The name is probably a parody of Popular Science.
