Chum Caverns

Brief summary: Plankton makes his new evil lair in a beautiful underground cave which could run the Krusty Krab out of business.

Plot

Plankton descovers that Mr. Krabs hides the Krabby Patty secret Formula under the floor boards and goes to get it by caving in under ground, however he crashes into a big rock, and when to digs deeper to go around it he gets trapped in an underground cave. Plankton descovers its beautiful and comes up with plan on how he could get more customers, he'll lure them under ground by the gorgeus scenerie of the cave. Later that day Mr. Krabs descovers that Plankton has more customers by his cave and decides to go down there to sell Krabby Patties. Plankton is mad about this and decides to get his revenge by trapping Mr. Krabs underground. The two end up fighting trying to get each other trapped under ground. They end up both getting stuck under ground and Spongebob comes to save them. When he does, Plankton goes above ground again to steal the secret formula, but when he gets above ground he falls back down and so does the Krusty Krab and everyone in Bikini Bottom and the episode ends with everyone in Bikini Bottom getting trapped in the Krusty Krab undergorund.

Trivia/Goofs

• This episode reveals the name of the light tan little girl fish with light blue lips and a pink skirt--Susie. (The captions make it spelled "Suzy".)
• There is a one-minute clip of this episode on the SpongeBob site on Nickelodeon.
• When the narrator cried when reading the "15 Minutes Later", this is a 4th wall break. The other times a time card broke the 4th wall is Wet Painters and Can You Spare a Dime?. This may also reference Gullible Pants.
• Two clips from this episode were on the Deep Sea Danger Zone commercial, but it did not premiere during the week. It was planned to air as the fourth premiere, but was changed to Squid's Visit.
• This is the second time Karen is seen crying. The first was Single Cell Anniversary but it was different. In that episode, Karen is actually crying, and then shorts out. This, she just says references to crying, such as "Sob, sob, cry, sob."
• During one part where Mr. Krabs and Plankton are digging underground, it is a reference to the classic Namco arcade game Dig Dug, when they keep going under each other to make the other one fall.
• This episode has the same opening theme music as The Splinter.
• When Mr. Krabs and Plankton were crying, for 15 minutes, how can they have a beard after 15 minutes of crying?
• There is a big boulder below the road, but in Plankton's Army there is a sewer.
• When you watch online and at the end there is a black screen then later the ending credits without music and no words on it and it messes up a bit it might not happen all the time.
• With everyone trapped underground in the end of the episode, sooner or later they'll notice that they won't be able to pay for the Krabby Patties or run out, thus there won't be nothing left to eat.
