Corporal Sterling was Mr. Krabs' former Navy partner. Their skeleton appears in the episode "Squidward in Clarinetland."

Role in episode

A prank was pulled on them where they got stuffed into Mr. Krabs' Navy locker, and Krabs eventually forgot about them. They died in the locker, and their skeleton is discovered many years later by SpongeBob, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs.
