Cuddle E. Hugs (character)
Cuddle E. Hugs is an imaginary hamster who appears in the episode of the same name.
Description
He is a very tall, tan-colored hamster with a lighter stomach, rosy pink cheeks, and a light red nose. He appears to have dimples and two front buck teeth. He also wears a green bow tie and a green bowler hat.
Role in episode
After SpongeBob eats a moldy old Krabby Patty he becomes sick and runs outside the restaurant at that point he meets a hamster named Cuddle E. Hugs who loves to cuddle and hug and the two become best friends. They go all over town doing several activities together including bike riding and having a tickle fight in the park while several Bikini Bottimites look on in confusion and shock, that night Spongebob brings cuddle to his house and they have a sleepover. The next morning Spongebob finds cuddles missing and he does not know what could have happened to him leaving him saddened but then SpongeBob then gets the thought maybe a krabby patty would make him feel better so he takes another bite of the old patty, at that moment Cuddles appears and the two embrace in a reunion hug. SpongeBob then takes Cuddles to meet his friends but none of them can see him, Sandy tells him its just his imaginary friend but cuddles reveals that no one else can see him because no one else had eaten the old patty, he then convinces SpongeBob to get the others to eat the patty so he goes to the Krusty Krab and cuts the patty up and the other fish eat it and finally they see cuddles who ends up attacking them and eats them.(In reality they are suffering from hallucinations caused by food poisoning from eating the patty) The next morning SpongeBob finds himself on the Krusty Krab floor and wanting to know why Cuddles did that he eats another bite of the patty to see Cuddles one last time and when cuddles reveals the E in his name means eats therefore explaining his actions the night before, SpongeBob thinking he is still hungry throws a piece of the patty in his mouth causing him to get sick and at that moment he hallucinates he is a presumably a childs bedroom with many SpongeBob products as his land form saying "oh pellets" as the episode ends.
