Faux-chovies
The faux-chovies are Bikini Bottomites who have partially transformed into anchovies after being transformed by other faux-chovies. They appear in the episode "SpongeChovy."
Description
The faux-chovies resemble a combination between their non-transformed selves and anchovies. Like their anchovy counterparts, they are very thin in comparison to their regular selves, and communicate through meeping (though they occasionally speak in their normal language).
Faux-chovies retain the color of their original selves; for example, when Template:Data:Links is transformed, he is still yellow with light green pores. All faux-chovies also retain their clothing prior to when they were transformed.
Role in episode
SpongeBob becomes the first to become an anchovy after hanging out with the anchovies. Then Template:Data:Links comes in, and becomes the second anchovy after playing patty-cake with SpongeBob. He and SpongeBob go together and turn Incidental 154 into a anchovy. They then go to the Krusty Krab and turn Template:Data:Links and many of the restaurant's customers into an anchovy.
The faux-chovies then run around town meeping, as they turn several people into anchovies. After that, they go back to the Krusty Krab along with other victims who are outside of the Krusty Krab. An anxious Template:Data:Links tries to make Krabby Patties to feed the faux-chovies.
The chaos does not stop until the original anchovies come in, and they and the faux-chovies end up battling each other. Luckily, thanks to Squidward, who orders a giant pizza that lands in the Krusty Krab, the original anchovies flee from the Krusty Krab. The faux-chovies, intrigued by the pizza, revert back to normal. Unfortunately for Squidward, he has been turned into a faux-chovy, and sits sadly inside a bus.
