• This is one of two episodes from the main series that Brandon Warren, a former supervising director on Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years, worked on, the other being "Delivery of DOOM!".
• This episode was originally titled "The Bikini Bottom Volunteer Fire Department."
• The title card background is similar to those of "Welcome to the Chum Bucket," "Skill Crane," "Enemy In-Law," "The Inmates of Summer," "Plankton's Regular," "Krusty Krushers," "Free Samples," "Sharks vs. Pods," and "Lockdown for Love," except it is red and the axe and the bell are added.
