In The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, The fisherman can be seen during the David Hasselhoff scene when he falls into the ocean when David Hasselhoff passes him.

In The String, he can be seen at the end when SpongeBob pulls the string on his fishing hook and then pulls the string on the fisherman.
