Astrology with Squidward

Template:Episode Astrology With Squidward is a spin-off mini series of the popular Nickelodeon series SpongeBob SquarePants which aired from 2000 to 2001, and is currently shown on Nicktoons TV.

Each "episode" aired during commercial breaks on Nickelodeon, one for each time of the year in Zodiac signs. It was hosted by the SpongeBob SquarePants character Squidward Tentacles, who in the show uses much of the sarcastic and unenthusiastic humor he uses on SpongeBob SquarePants itself, such as ending the show, Squidward would close up with lines such as "You still owe me 5 dollars" and made predictions for the people in the sign of the Zodiac that were somewhat obvious, such as "I predict that within the next year everybody you know will get one year older" and "You will go to sleep 7 times this week".

The Zodiac signs are represented by SpongeBob characters often crudely dressed up to look like the actual sign's animal, for example, the character Patrick Star has a pig nose mask on horns, to look like a bull. The characters included:

• Squidward: Scorpio (on the Tropical zodiac) or Libra (on the Sidereal zodiac) (stereotype: likes the finer things in life, taking it easy, wants to do no work)
• SpongeBob: Sagittarius (stereotype: overly enthusiastic, optimistic, and foolish)
• Patrick: Taurus (stereotype: thick-headed)
• Plankton: Scorpio (stereotype: diabolical and plotting), among others. In another short, Plankton is depicted as a Leo.
• Mr. Krabs: Cancer (because he is a crab)
• Two Fish: Pisces (Because pisces are fish)
• Pearl: Virgo

They can also be found on The Sims.

Although the "micro-series" was somewhat popular, it was cut from Nickelodeon's line up after airing for a year, but is still sometimes aired on Nicktoons Network, along with many cancelled Nickelodeon mini-series and shows.
