He was having a tea party with SpongeBob, Patrick, and Ms. Nibsy at 8:35 PM.

He appears when SpongeBob is shown asleep because Mr. Krabs accidentally lulled SpongeBob to sleep.

Trivia

• SpongeBob once called him "SpongeBear Jr."
• Beary was the first toy SpongeBob pulled out of the Skill Crane Machine but he then pulled out a duplicate version of him when demonstrating the best crane technique to Squidward. The duplicate version had then suddenly disappeared.
• Beary is one of three toy bears SpongeBob owns; the others being Confess-A-Bear and Mr. Stuffykins.
