— Squidward Tentacles and Monty P. Moneybags
Object

Bold and Brash is a painting made by Squidward, hoping to impress an art critic with it. The artwork is quickly panned, and is later found at The Dump. It was only seen in the episode, "Artist Unknown."

Description

The painting has a yellow background, with an avant-garde picture of Squidward on it.

Role in the episode

At the Adult Learning Center, Squidward gets a job as an art teacher. The art collector, Monty P. Moneybags, comes and one of the pieces that Squidward shows is this one. Monty says that it belongs in the trash and the Janitor takes it and puts it in the trash. Soon Squidward shows a statue made by SpongeBob to Monty. Monty likes it and says that he will buy it. When he starts to take the statue to his boat, the head accidentally falls off. Squidward tells Monty that he will get a new one by the next day. Squidward then goes to The Dump to find SpongeBob. After Squidward motivates SpongeBob to get back to making art, SpongeBob finds Bold and Brash in a pile of garbage and Squidward takes it from him.
