Capn' A. Krabs, is the 1830s counterpart of Eugene H. Krabs who appears in the episode "Dopey Dick" as the episode's main antagonist.

He is a red crab with a mouth, a brown nose, two eyestalks, three eyelashes on the right eye, and two eyelashes on the left eye. His left eye is bright red and his right eye is light red. He has a gray beard. For clothing, he wears a brown hat with a brown shirt with white sleeves, brown pants, and a brown leg.

Role in episode

He and Planky are owners of The Jelly Squirt Inn. Fishmael Tentacles goes into the Jelly Squirt Inn for a job. His partner Planky offers Fishmael some jelly but Fishmael does not want any. Fishmael goes to the cash register as Capn' A. Krabs slams the opener to Fishmael's hands. Planky angrily asks him to buy jelly or get out. He buys the jelly but Pat-Buck Star gets him a job at Ye Olde Pineapple. When Captain SpongeHab's crew releases Template:Data:Links, he gets captured by Capn' A. Krabs' crew as Planky gets nematodes to destroy Ye Olde Pineapple. When Capn' A. Krabs's crew is asleep, SpongeHab's crew sneaks onto the ship to rescue Dopey Dick and release him, but Capn' A. Krabs and his crew notice them sneaking onto their boat. At the end of the episode, Dopey Dick saves them and they all appear at the Jelly Squirt Inn again.

Trivia

• Capn' A. Krabs is more like Captain Ahab from Herman Melville's novel, Moby Dick than Captain SpongeHab is because both Ahab and Capn' A. Krabs are cruel, want to capture Moby Dick and Dopey Dick and also both have a missing leg and replaced it with a wooden peg, while Captain SpongeHab still has all two of his legs, he has a spatula where his right leg is to look like he lost a leg, but it really lifted.
