A separate[1] criminal first appears in the episode "Truth or Square," during "Oh, Krusty Krab;" he also appears in the episode "Pat the Horse."

Description

He has olive-green skin and a dark olive-green-striped dorsal fin. He also has three dark green spots on his head and wears a black mask. He has scales on his back and has black and white stripes on his clothing, as typical prisoners wear.

Role in series

"Bubble Buddy"

When SpongeBob and Bubble Buddy go to the Krusty Krab, Squidward complains that Bubble Buddy cannot eat at the restaurant and that his money is no good there. Mr. Krabs appears out of the cash register and says that everyone's money will be accepted. The scene then shows the criminal with a big bag of cash on the table, implying that stolen money is good money for the Krusty Krab.

Lights, Camera, Pants!

In The Bouncers menu icon and unused graphics, Krusty Krab customers include the criminal again.

"Truth or Square"

During "Oh, Krusty Krab," a different[1] criminal has robbed the First Nautical Bank and gets caught by orange Incidental 118. They then notice the song and happily skip away together.

"Cave Dwelling Sponge"

The "Bubble Buddy" criminal makes a cameo appearance at the visitors' area in the prison.

"Pat the Horse"

The "Truth or Square" criminal appears on the cover of the book You Can Be Anything.

Trivia

  • Between Lights, Camera, Pants! and "Cave Dwelling Sponge" and between "Truth or Square" and "Pat the Horse," it took them 12 and 8 years to return, respectively.
