How am I supposed to eat this pizza without my drink?!

— Customer, "Pizza Delivery"
Character

The customer is a minor character who first appears in the episode "Pizza Delivery."

Description

He is a dark orange fish with orange fins and tan lips. He wears a purple shirt and bright teal shorts. He has big green round eyes at the top of his head with bags under them. His feet are long and rounded. He also has belly hair.

Role in series

The customer has made only three appearances in the series so far with both of them being notable appearances. He has been absent from the series for 18 years ever since his debut appearance (not counting his color palette being used for Scooter in "Friend or Foe"), but he made a comeback in the season 12 episode, "Senior Discount." He makes his biggest role yet in his debut "Pizza Delivery" as the customer who ordered the Krusty Krab Pizza. He is also known to be the inspiration of Incidental 6's design.[1][2]

Roles

"Pizza Delivery" / Naughty Nautical Neighbors (Chinese comic) / Krusty Krab Adventures/"Pizza Delivery: Puppet Edition!"

"Where's my drink?"

Template:Data:Links arrives at his house, and when the customer gets the pizza, he gets angry at SpongeBob for not bringing his drink, a Diet Dr. Kelp in particular. Although SpongeBob tries to tell the customer that he did not order one, he refuses to listen and berates SpongeBob. He also refuses to pay for the pizza and slams the door in SpongeBob's face. This act was so cruel and hateful that it made Template:Data:Links truly feel sorry for SpongeBob (even though he hates him). He later receives his comeuppance after Squidward violently slams the pizza box into his face.

"Friend or Foe"

His color palette is briefly used for Scooter in the crowd of customers listening to Template:Data:Links' story after he tells the part where Template:Data:Links gets lifted into the air by a balloon.

"Senior Discount"

The customer struggling to eat his food with Steve.

He appears as a customer at the Krusty Krab sitting at a table with Steve with an order of kelp fries. He and Steve try to eat their food while Mr. Krabs plays loud rock music at the Krusty Krab.

"Wiener Takes All"

Bikini Bottom Mysteries

"The Chocolate Guy (Episode 9)"

While he doesn't physically appear himself, a clip from "Pizza Delivery" is shown of Tom upset about not having his Diet Dr. Kelp, the Detective then questions why Tom is suddenly orange.

Roles in games

Legend of the Lost Spatula

He is an NPC that the player can talk to. He tells the player to go to Mrs. Puff's Boating School at the beginning of the game, and like other NPCs, he gives basic tips such as the game's controls. He can be found walking around in front of his house, which is located to the right of SpongeBob's house. His dorsal fin is smaller and some of his colors are changed due to the Game Boy Color's limitations.

Roles in toys

SpongeBob SquarePants Tonie

While he doesn't appear, he is mentioned in the audio reenactment of "Pizza Delivery."

Trivia

File:Customer and Incidental 6.png
Comparison of the customer and Incidental 6.
  • Being the inspiration to Incidental 6's design, he bears a resemblance to him, but they are separate character models with numerous differences:

    • He has a protruding gut, and has belly button hair, while Incidental 6 does not.
    • He has long rounded feet while Incidental 6 has thin black feet.
    • His eyes are directly on top of his head with no forehead, while Incidental 6 has a forehead.
    • He has permanent bags under his eyes, unlike Incidental 6.
