The Bikini Bottom Hug Festival is an event that takes place in Bikini Bottom. It is a festival dedicated to hugging people, as others are seen doing this. It appears in the season 6 episode "Ditchin'."

Description

It is a festival with at least six multicolored huts and a pink banner which reads the text "Bikini Bottom Hug Fest" in blue and beige colors held up by two wooden poles and surrounded by strings of red, green, and yellow flags.

Role in episode

While trying to get back to boating school, SpongeBob encounters the Bikini Bottom Hug Festival. He tries to walk through it, but is hugged by Incidental 49.
