The "17th century fish" are one of the types of regular incidental characters. They are for incidentals that take the appearance as fish in 17th century clothing, hence their name. There are a total of 18 known "17th century fish." They appear to be arguably the least commonly used incidental type.

- Incidentals 123 and 124 are the only "17th century fish" who don't wear a powdered wig or have any hair.
- Incidentals 124, 125, 127, and 128 are the only "17th century fish" who have appeared outside of "Sleepy Time." They are also the only ones who have existed outside of Template:Data:Links's dream.
