The rock is a sentient rock that appears in the episode "Plankton's Pet."
Description
The rock at first looks like any ordinary rock with algae and coral on top of it. However, it also has a mouth with sharp teeth and a long tongue. The rock looks very similar to a clam (though whether or not it is one remains unconfirmed).
Role in episode
When Template:Data:Links takes Template:Data:Links to the animal shelter to get a new pet, one of said pets is a rock. Plankton exclaims that he does not need algae on a rock as a pet (since he does not need a plant), but the rock comes alive and wraps Plankton around with its tongue (though Plankton is not surprised). Fortunately however, Spot comes to save Plankton by biting on the rock's tongue causing it to flinch and release Plankton. Template:One
