Role in episode
SpongeBob first learns of the parade from a flier posted on the Krusty Krab. When he tells Mr. Krabs, he is initially uninterested, but learns he could promote the restaurant with a float. He tasks Squidward with designing a float and SpongeBob to build one. SpongeBob spends all night building the float. He also included a bottle on top of the float and even wrote the Krabby Patty formula on it. However, Plankton overhears this and sees a chance to get the formula.Trivia
The Bikini Bottom Parade is based of the Thanksgiving Celebration, "the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade".
