  • Unlike what Mr. Krabs says, SpongeBob actually has been late to work in the past.
  • Squidward is happy about SpongeBob's presumed death, despite feeling guilty about accidentally sentencing SpongeBob to death in "Dying for Pie."
  • When this episode first aired, it was paired up with "Senior Discount." [citation needed]
  • The con man says that there's no more models of SpongeBob's alarm clock, but in The SpongeBob SquarePants MovieSpongeBob has his alarm clock.
  • This Marks Death Clock (C) for the first time since Stuck in the Wringer, 9 in a half years in absence.
  • This episode, along with Senior Discount, revived the series from a streak of premieres that got less then one million viewers.
