- [The episode starts off with a shot of the Krusty Krab, and then suddenly chaos erupts in the interior.]
- Mr. Krabs: [barrel is thrown at his office door and breaks into pieces] Mr. Squidward [notices axe coming at him so he ducks his head], what is happening in me restaurant!?
- Squidward: The customers have gone crazy! [a kid is thrown at Squidward and he ducks his head] SpongeBob is late for work so there's no food!
- Mr. Krabs: [shakes Squidward while choking his neck] But he's never been late to work in his life! This could only mean one thing. [He lets go of Squidward's neck, jumps on the table, and rings the bell] SpongeBob has passed away!
- [the customers gasp, and after that they cry]
- Mr. Krabs: Or maybe he's just seriously injured!
- [the customers stop crying for a second, but continue]
- Mr. Krabs: That's still bad, isn't it? [starts crying too]
- Squidward: [polishes his nails] I had no idea you care so much about SpongeBob!
- Mr. Krabs: Of course! He's been a loyal employee! His passing would be a great loss... [shows money from his back pocket] Of me bank account. Well, to me personally, of course... Now come on. [whispers to Squidward] We have to check on SpongeBob's possible remains.
- Squidward: [turns happy] With pleasure!
