Plot

One fish is doing the boating course perfectly with Mrs. Puff, and then its SpongeBob's turn. Soon, Mrs. Puff realizes SpongeBob is afraid of the coarse and has him drive on an abandoned road where he passes his test and gets a license. But, police had seen them and thought they were reckless drivers because Mrs. Puff crossed the county line which she shoudn't have done. At the end the police officer rips up SpongeBob's license. As Mrs. Puff's going to jail she says "I will get you, SpongeBob Squarepants!" and it ends.

Trivia

Nickelodeon will feature SpongeBob's "Biggest Boating Blunders" which is a marathon with many boat-releated episodes leading up to this episode such as Doing Time, Boating Buddies, and No Free Rides.
Charles returns as a character in a show two fish are watching.
This episode was orignally going to be aired with Little Yellow Book but the episode was moved to November 25, 2012.
Once again Mrs. Puff's master plan to pass SpongeBob is fatelly flawed.
This episode appears to be the reverse of Mrs. Puff, You're Fired. SpongeBob, in this episode, appears to drive well by "focusing on the road." In the episode Mrs. Puff, You're Fired, SpongeBob drove well by not focusing on the road at all since he was blindfolded.
- Funny, in both of these episodes, SpongeBob managed to parallel park the boat.
The title card background music is the same as New Student Starfish .
The cop from Boating Buddies and The Krabby Kronicle reappear

Goofs

When Mrs. Puff was thrown into the policecar, she was wearing hand cuffs. When she appeared at the window threatening to get SpongeBob, her hand cuffs were suddenly gone.
