- When this episode first aired, it was paired up with "Plankton Paranoia." This is due to how Nickelodeon pairs episodes with the previous one aired during a premiere week.[citation needed]
- The Tattletale Strangler from " SpongeBob Meets the Strangler" and Dennis from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie briefly appear on posters.
- When SpongeBob says "Is it hot in here?," he is referencing when he said that in "No Free Rides."
