- Though his name is Captain Frostymug, his nametag actually says "Captain Frosty" on it.
- Captain Frostymug is another one of the new characters in the newer Spongebob episodes with the the title "Captain" in it. The first was Captain Lutefisk from the episode Demolition Doofus.
